I had an idea that I gave to Jamie a few weeks ago about the idea of in game ads which reward players if they choose to use it. What would happen is every 5-10 minutes etc a few ads would play to give the server some income rather than just income from VIP purchases. If the players do not wish to have ads running then they do not have to and they will not get the rewards and do not get the option to listen to the radio which provides music.If they do choose to listen to ads then they get the option to listen to music with the ads playing , kind of like spotify. When they choose to listen to ads , every time an ad plays they get a reward i.e. Credits in the store to buy tags and colors . Of course the could turn of steam client in the volume mixer and still support the server w/out listening to the radio or ads.
I think this would help the players support the server without donating if they can't/don't want too
